Do I Need A License?
You do not need a licence to run your raffle as long as you follow our guidance by abiding by the Gambling Act 2005 & CAP Code.
How Do Our Supporters Enter The Raffle?
Once your supporter lands on your website, they can enter the raffle with just a few clicks, they will just need to:

Simply click 'enter' on your raffle page.

Select how many tickets they would like to purchase.

Input their name, email address (for ticket confirmation) and payment details.

Sit tight and wait for a winner to be drawn on your chosen draw date, the winner is drawn securely and independently by random.org.
How Is A Winner Selected?
We draw our raffles independently, using random.org's true randomisation software. Once RaiseHero has compiled a list of tickets for the draw, we send the list over to random.org who draw the winning ticket number. Random.org then posts the winning ticket number on its public register
How Much Does It Cost To Run A Raffle?
We take a flat 10% fee of the funds raised in your raffle. There are no hidden costs, we cover payment provider fees, data hosting costs and any other contributing costs within our fee.
Do You Provide Guidance On Running The Raffle?
Yes, not only do we provide the platform for you to run your own raffle, we will also guide you with our expert advice with many years of fundraising experience and tens of thousands of raffles hosted.
How Are Payments Taken?
Payment can be made by debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay with our platform.
Are Card Payments Secure?
We use secure, encrypted connections across our website and do not hold your card details on our servers. Our payment providers are fully PCI and ISO compliant, and we leave all of the financial processing to them. Raffolux will never share any of your financial data.
